s significant in terms of creating harmony in society and international Islamic University Islamabad is focusing on its mission to bring Muslim societies close and unified for harmony in Muslim world.
This was said by Professor Dr. Masoom Yasinzai while addressing the inaugural ceremony of a 4-days regional training program on “Islam & International Humanitarian Law” organized by Islamic Research Institute (IRI), IIUI in collaboration with International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) Islamabad.
State Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Muhammad Amin Ul Hasnat Shah was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony whereas; Mr. Reto Stocker, Head of Delegation of ICRC Pakistan, Dr. Zia Ul Haq, Director General IRI, IIUI and participants from different regions attended the inaugural ceremony.
Rector IIU further added that religion always talks about humanity and terms it essential for good citizenship. He appreciated role of ICRC efforts at the time of crisis in Muslim countries.
