Pro Chancellor, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) Prof. Dr. Suliman Abdullah Aba Al-Khail offered prayer of Maghrib at Faisal Masjid campus and delivered a lecture in a session of Quran and Hadith of Dawah Academy.
The Pro Chancellor called for Taqwah and urged Muslims should seek guidance from Quran and Hadith. He stressed on the participants to have maximum participation in such sessions while saying that it helps in purgation of soul.
On the occasion, Ambassador of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, President IIUI Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, varsity vice presidents, Director Dawah Academy, Dr. Sohail Hassan were also present.
He urged the Ulema to play their role for unity among Muslims.He also discussed prevailing challenges being faced by Muslim societies and said that Ulema are the personalities who can bring positive change by disseminating true message of Islam. He furthered that contemporary issues must be solved in the light of teachings of Quran and Hadith.
Earlier, President IIUI briefed the honorable chief guest about regarding the activities Dawah Academy and its Dars e Quran activity. He said IIUI has made Faisal Masjid a hub of learning and it is great omen of Pak Saudi long lasting relations endowed by King Faisal.
