KHATM E QURAN CEREMONY HELD AT NEW CAMPUS

A khatm e Quran ceremony was held in the Masjid of the male hostels of the new campus in International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI).

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Hafiz Ghufran Ali Khan, Students Advisor and Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Anwar, Chairman Aima committee and Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Shariah & Law.

As many as 20 Hufaaz recited Quran in Taraweeh during the Holy Month of Ramadan who were presented gift in the ceremony.

On the occasion, Dars e Quran was held that was delivered by the Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Anwar highlighted the importance of Ramadan and devotion of Muslims. While congratulating the audience, he said that participants are the lucky ones who availed the opportunity to be the part of a pious activity and most important part of Ramadan. He also highlighted the importance of the study of the Quran stating that the Holy Month is the best source to get close to the sacred book.

Stressing upon the students, he said they must devote their lives in the light of teachings of the Quran as it will ease their living and their hearts will be in peace. He thanked the Worthy President and IIUI administration for their support.

On the Occasion, expressing his views Dr. Hafiz Ghufran Ali that he was feeling lucky to be the part of this sacred gathering. He also reiterated his resolve that students’ facilitation is the top priority. He also appreciated the efforts of Dr. Hafiz M. Anwar and his team. At the end, the ceremony concluded with dua by Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Anwar who also thanked IIU President for his untiring efforts.
