DIRECTORATE OF STUDENTS AFFAIRS AND FACULTY OF USULUDDIN FEMALE CAMPUS HOLDS SERIES OF LECTURES DURING BLESSED MONTH OF RAMADAN

The Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA) and Faculty of Usuluddin at Female Campus of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) organized series of lectures in connection with the blessed month of Ramadan which witnessed large number of faculty and students participation at Fatima tuz Zohra Auditorium at the campus of the university.
 
The lectures were attended by Dr. Sumayya Chughtai, In-Charge Female Campus, Students Advisor, Dr. Sadia Saleem, Dr. Humaira Ashfaq Provost at Female Campus and senior faculty members at female campus including Dr. Aliya Ikram, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arabic.
 
The series of lectures was led by esteemed speakers Dr. Fouzia Saeed and Dr. Salma, Dr. Taimia Sabiha, Dr. Soumia Aziz, Dr. Saleha Batool, and Dr. Sobia Qurban from the faculty of Usuluddin of Female Campus.
 
Purpose of organizing such lectures was to embark on a journey of spiritual rejuvenation and to deliver and guide how to navigate this sacred month according to the Sunnah and teachings of Quran.
 
On the occasion, participants gained practical tips on planning deeds to perform during the holy month of Ramadan to delve into jurisprudential intricacies and better understanding and practices.
 
During the lectures, Ramadan Manuals were distributed among participants ensuring that each attendee left armed with the knowledge and guidance to make the most of this blessed month.
 
Delving deep into the nuances of fasting and its jurisprudence issues, speakers exchanged knowledge and deep insights interacting with participants as thought-provoking sessions aimed at addressing misconceptions surrounding Ramadan.
 
Panelists also shed light on various aspects of fasting with references from the Quran and Sunnah. Students actively participated, posing questions that were met with comprehensive explanations, fostering a deeper understanding of Ramadan’s significance.
