Dr Muhammad Hamidullah Library, Islamic Research Institute in collaboration with Central Library, IIUI organized a two-day library mounted books and photographs exhibition at Central Library to commemorate Iqbal Day. Dr. Muhammad Bashir Khan, Vice President IIUI inaugurated the exhibition. Dr. Zia ul Haq,Director General IRI and Chief Librarian Sher Nowrooz Khan were also present on the occasion.
Prof. Dr. M. Bashir Khan shared his views with the students. He said that unthankful nations never grow in the world. We should remember our ancestors and read about them. He said that students should learn from Iqbal philosophy of Khudi . VP IIUI also elaborated the importance of libraries for the students.
Dr. Zia-ul-Haq highlighted different aspects of the Allama Iqbal’s philosophy and poetry. He said that Allama Iqbal used poetry as a medium for dissemination of his ideas and philosophy to awake Muslims of subcontinent and Ummah.
