Imam e Kaba Dr. Saleh Bin Abdullah Bin Hemeid visited new campus of International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) and met the university leadership.
Upon his arrival with his delegation members of Islamic Fiqh Academy, he was received by Rector Dr. Masoom Yasinzai and President IIUI Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh.
In his speech, Imam e Kaba said that IIUI is in hearts of people of Saudi Arabia and its services to Muslim world are matchless. He added that cooperation with IIUI is equal to Ibadah as it is playing key role in dissemination of message of Islam. He also hailed the role of IIUI in eradication of polio and said he was happy to participate in the conference on Halal food organized by the university.
On the occasion, Vice Presidents, Deans, Directors General, Directors and other high officials were also present on the occasion.
IIUI Rector said in his speech that university is thankful to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for cooperation with IIUI and hoped that it would continue. He added that visit to Imam e Kaaba is a proud moment for the university. He said that Pakistanis have immense love for KSA in their hearts.
President IIUI introduced the university to Imam e Kaaba and his delegation. He said that university is striving to reach to the all aspects of society to disseminate Islam’s true message of tranquility. He said that IIUI’s journey of 37 years is dedicated to service of Muslim world. IIUI President also hailed the narrations of Imam e kaaba on moderation.
Later, Imam e Kabba also visited faculty of engineering and technology, Arabic language center for non Arabs and Suliman Abdullah Aba Al Khail center for interdisciplinary research .
