The President of the International Islamic University in Islamabad, Dr. Ahmed bin Yousif Al-Draiweesh delivered a Friday sermon at King Faisal Mosque on Friday .
In the sermon he urged for patience and highlighted the importance of those who remain peaceful. IIUI President recited verses regarding battle of Badar and discussed the belief of Muslim in Allah. He emphasized that the history is actually a pathway for us to learn and practice and disseminate Islam’s message of humanity and peace. Dr. Al-Draiweesh stressed upon tolerance while saying that terrorism has nothing to do with Islam.
He maintained that it was the responsibility of the educational institutions and Mosques of the Muslims societies to introduce the public about the true message of Islam and expose the enemies of the sacred religion. He also prayed for the prosperity of the country.
