President, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh participated in the 11th General Conference of League of Islamic Universities (LIU) at Cairo.
The conference discussed the amendment of some articles of LIU’s statutes and its working regulations, and approved the minutes of the last session held at Alexandria University last year. LIU was established in 1969 and includes the largest universities from around the world. The aim of this important international meeting was to highlight the contributions and efforts of universities and institutions of higher education in the Arab and Islamic world in providing the best services to Islamic socities.
IIUI President’s participation was part of his efforts to disseminate IIUI’s ,message of academic excellences, promotion of peace and ensured of quality education to Muslim youth. Dr. Al-Draiweesh , in the conference, apprised the participants regarding IIUI’s vision, activities and services delivered to the Muslim societies in the last couple of years.
All participants praised the role of the International Islamic University in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Dr. Al-Draiweesh in achieving its Islamic and international goals and objectives.
