International Islamic University Islamabad Schools, Lakki Marwat campus successfully received their first Slow Scan TV image from the International Space Station (ISS).
IIUI School Lakki Marwat has become the first and the only school in Pakistan to have received Slow Scan TV (SSTV) pictures from
the International Space Station orbiting around the earth at above 600 KMs by using a VHF Amateur Radio receiver.
The science project was carried out by the students of Grade 5 & Grade 6. The images received were decoded and then sent to the ARISS committee and an award certificate has duly been received by the school.
IIUI has appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers who participated in this activity and hoped that all IIUI Schools will continue excelling in such high level science projects in future.
