ENTREPRENEURIAL APPROACH KEY FOR SUCCESS: PROF. MASOOM YASINZAI

Prof. Dr. Masoom Yasinzai , Rector, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) said Thursday that entrepreneurial approach and awareness  for enterprising  attitude among youth must be the future policies.

He was addressing a launching ceremony of Business Incubation Services Program jointly organized by IIUI in collaboration with Bahria University. The project is supported by USAID and UNDP. The program had been designed for the districts of FATA, North Waziristan and South Waziristan.

The ceremony was also attended by senator Sitara Ayaz, Rector Bahria University, Vice Admiral Kaleem Shaukat and representatives of UNDP and USAID.

“Youth is the real asset” said Dr. Masoom.  He added that Pakistan, with 56 million youth, can do wonders. He stressed upon educational institutions to inculcate Islamic values through teaching and expose youth to great Islamic history. Referring to the unemployment, Dr. Masoom said no country can give jobs to 56 million youth, its entrepreneurial approach which may stabilize the youth and discourage the issues such as brain drain.

Earlier, Director Business Incubation Centre, Engineer Ehsan Mirza apprised about the aims, objectives and details of the program. He vowed that IIUI would keep collaborating with rest of the educational institutions to revamp skills of young minds.
