In light of the direction of International Islamic University (IIU) President, Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, a meeting of crisis management was held to discuss corona virus epidemic and its precautionary measures.
IIUI Chief Medical Officer along with his team apprised about the outbreak, its symptoms and precautionary measured. The committee observed that an awareness campaign must be launched regarding symptoms and precautionary measures and a letter to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) must be sent to seek help if required.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Muhamamd Tahir Khalily, Vice President Academics who vowed that as per directions of IIUI President no stone will be left unturned to save IIUI from this outbreak.
