International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) conferred the coveted PhD degree in English on Dr Ameer Sultan Awan here at the University campus where he defended his dissertation.
Dr Ameer Sultan Awan was declared as Doctor of Philosophy after he successfully defended his thesis before a panel of veteran academicians. His thesis was entitled ” Narrative Structure of Harry Potter Series”. He conducted his research under the supervision of Prof Dr Muhammad Safeer Awan, Dean Faculty of English Studies, NUML, while Prof Dr Nasim Akhtar Raja and Prof Dr Shahbaz Arif were the external examiners. Currently, Dr Ameer Sultan Awan is serving as Lecturer in the Department of English, IIUI.
