Department of sociology of the International Islamic University(IIU) arranged a blood donation camp at male campus.
The camp was visited by IIUI Vice President Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily and a large number of students and faculty members.
Organizers of the activity said aim of the camp was to create awareness among people regarding benefit of donating blood and to provide transfusion facilities to patients.
On the occasion, Dr. Tahir Khalily vowed for arranging similar camps, saying that these efforts would also remain in future. The activity was attended by Prof. Dr. Saif Abbasi other faculty members of the department and a large number of students.
