TWO PHD CANDIDATES OF PSYCHOLOGY DEPARTMENT SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDED PHD DEFENSE

Department of Psychology of the IIUI got a valuable addition of two more PhD scholars as Ms. Tamkeen Saleem, Lecturer, Department of Psychology, International Islamic University, Islamabad and Lt  Hafiz Ghulam Abbas have successfully defended their dissertations.

Tamkeen’s dissertation was titled as “Emotion Regulation, Social Competence and Parental Bonding in Functional and Dysfunctional Families: A Comparative Study”. She completed her thesis under the guidance of Dr. Seema Gul, Chairperson/Associate Professor, Department of Psychology (Female Campus), IIUI.

Lt  Hafiz Ghulam Abbas has been serving in Pakistan Navy as a commissioned officer since 2011 as psychologist officer. He has recently successfully defended his PhD Dissertation titled Impacts of Leadership Style on Personal and Job Outcomes among Teaching Faculty of Public Sector Universities”. He completed his dissertation under the supervision of Prof. Dr Muhammad Tahir Khalily, Chairperson/ Professor, Department of Psychology (Male Campus), IIUI.
