A prize 
and certificates distribution ceremony for the participants of Tajweed and Quran memorization course was organized at Fasial Masjid Campus. As many as 200 students benefited from the course.
Chief Guest of the ceremony was President IIUI, Dr Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh. The event was also attended by Dr. Haroon-ur-Rashid (Dean Dept. of Usul-ud-din), Dr. Hafiz Taj Afsar (Dept. of Usul-ud-din) and Dr. Fazal Rabbi (Dept. of Shariah and Law).
President IIUI congratulated the course participants on its completion and praised the hard work of all the concerned teachers as well. He urged the students to pay focus on correct recitation of Qur’an and called upon them to follow the teachings of Holy book and apply those in their practical life. He furthered that teachings of Quran are a pathway towards a successful life. He also mentioned opening of a centre coined as “Dar-ul-Muneera” within the premises of IIUI, where teachings of Qur’an and its Sciences are being taught by the qualified teachers to the students of different departments.
On the occasion, Dr. Haroon-ur-Rashid highlighted the manners of reciting the Qur’an, in which he laid emphasis to read it with tajweed and said that it leads towards serenity and tranquility. He thanked IIUI leadership for cooperation in launching this constructive course.
Earlier, an informative lecture was delivered by Dr. Taj Afsar on the importance of hifz-ul-Qur’an. He enlightened that how much recitation and hifz-ul-Qur’an is mandatory for a Muslim by quoting different sayings of Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
At the end, the students were accredited and awarded shields, paintings of Qur’an calligraphy and a beautiful scripture of Holy Qur’an, handed over to them by President IIUI along with other honorable teachers.
