A meeting of the committee on social media usage was held here at the new campus of the International Islamic University (IIU).
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal , Professor, Department of Media and Communication Studies. The committee reviewed various agenda item as per its mandate and also looked into the matters which were forwarded by a sub-committee regarding the disinformation. The committee vowed that it shall take necessary action against those who are involved in sharing of disinformation about the university on social media as per Social Media Usage Policy.
