A three-day online workshop on Islamic Inheritance Law, organized by Shariah Academy, International Islamic University Islamabad concluded here.
The workshop arranged for the law fraternity lasted from 1st to 3rd June 2021.
The workshop was attended by participants hailing from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Indian Occupied Kashmir. .
The objective of the workshop was to get acquainted with the basic principles and rules of Islamic inheritance law and to examine any ambiguities related to it.
The main topics of the workshop were: Basic Principles and Rules of Inheritance Law, Inheritance of Orphan Grandson and Principles of Representation, Contemplation of Contemporary Symbolism, Review of High Judicial Crops on Inheritance were included.
Justice (Retd.) Mohammad Raza Khan, Barrister Hamid Khan (Senior Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan), Prof. Dr. Abdul Haibaru (Director General Shariah Academy), Mr. Engineer Shabbir Ahmed Kakakhel (Leading Scholarly and Spiritual Personality), Prof. Dr. Shahbaz Ahmed Cheema (Department of Law, Punjab University, Lahore), Dr. Habib-ur-Rehman (Shariah Academy) and Hafiz Ahmad Waqas (Shariah Academy) spoke on the above topics.
