Annual sports week was organized by Provost Office (Men’s Hostels) for foreigner students residing at hostels of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) in which foreigner students participated in games including badminton, table tennis, football, futsal, volleyball and basketball.
Final contest of futsal was held among Thailand and Nigerian students, the match was won by Thai students. It was attended by Prof. Dr. Attaullah, Dean, Faculty of Shariah & Law, IIUI as chief guest. Football final match held among Somali and Afghan Students which was won by Somalian students.
The final match of Badminton was held between Indonesia and Thailand, in this match Dr. Mushtaq, Director, Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), IIUI witnessed the contest as Chief Guest. The match was won by Indonesian students.
On the occasion Dr. Mushtaq, Director ORIC appreciated foreigner students of different nationalities for their active participation in sports activities.
Dr. Abrar Anwar, Provost welcomed the chief guest of the final contest and thanked all hostels management for organizing sports activities for foreign students living in IIUI hostels. Dr. Abrar also appreciated hostel students for their active participation in the entire sports event with full spirit.
