PRESIDENT IIUI’S CONSTITUTED COMMITTEE MEETS TO DISCUSS PRIORITY BASED STUDENTS FACILITATION

A meeting of the committee constituted by the Worthy President, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), to devise a strategy, guidelines and SOPs with regard to dealing with the students by the employees, was held here in the new campus.
The committee discussed the agenda items in the In the light of vision of H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, President, International Islamic University (IIU) to facilitate students in solving their matters under one roof on priority and with the use of modern and digitized approach.

The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, while it was also attended by the members that included Deans, important office holders, Incharges and relevant officers.
The committee also discussed matters related to the inauguration of the academic block established with the Saudi funding to facilitate the students as per international standards. The block will be inaugurated by Federal Minister for Education Rana Tanveer Hussain on Tuesday.
On this occasion Dr. Zafar Iqbal highlighted the vision of the Worthy President IIUI regarding upbringing of the university at international level by provision of latest facilities to the students and said that as per vision of IIUI President newly established One Window approach based Students Facilitation Center and Academics & Examinations Block will be proved as a vital addition in the journey of university’s success.
During the meeting, Dr. Zafar, keeping in view the reports shared by the three sub committees’ heads on the given mandate recommended that student centric approach to facilitate the students is a prerequisite for varsity progress. The committee also emphasized upon the training of the staff on an immediate basis who directly deal with the students and public.
At the end, the Chair of the committee directed the three committee heads to submit their reports on next Tuesday, to finalize the action plan in this regard.
