President IIUI, Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, amid his visit to Bosnia had meeting with the leadership of the University of Sarajevo and discussed bilateral cooperation at the university.
Dr. Al-Draiweesh was accompanied by Executive Director, IRD, IIUI, Dr. Husnul Amin, Dr. Susic Sejo, IIUI, Advisor to IIUI President, Dr. Ashraf Abdul Rafay.
At the university, the IIUI delegation in the leadership of the President IIUI met with Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj, Rector Sarajevo university, university’s Vice President, Deans and Hods.
On the occasion, President IIUI was briefed about the university that university is 67 years old educational institution. It was apprised that university has more than 30 thousand students and it has 26 faculties. It was also told that many Islamic countries especially KSA has provided maximum cooperation to the university.
On the occasion, President IIUI also briefed about IIUI and said that Dr. Al-Draiweesh said that IIUI will welcome Bosnian students to all its faculties, centers and academies. He reiterated his resolve that university will keep providing best facilities of education and experiences sharing to students of all Muslim countries on priority basis. He said that educational institutions can play vital role in the uplift of Islamic societies.
