PRESIDENT IIUI ADDRESSES CONCLUDING CEREMONY OF ISLAMIC ORIENTATION COURSE AT DAWAH

President, International Islamic University in Islamabad, (IIUI) Dr. Ahmed bin Yousif  Al-Draiweesh, chaired and addressed the closing ceremony of the training session of the 90th Islamic orientation course for Aima and Khutba organized by the University’s Dawah Academy.

Three months long training course was joined by participants hailing from 4 provinces, AJK and GB who were engaged in various activities and had sessions regarding public speaking, advising and preaching to the general public in accordance with Islamic values.

Dr. Al-Draiweesh, while lauding the efforts of Dawah academy said that such courses are necessary to deal with the issues of extremism through Islam’s message of peace.

He also highlighted the importance of mosque in Islam and said that it’s a complete institution. He said preaching is sacred obligation and fortunate are those who are chosen by God for this purpose. He added that Aima are the protectors of  legacy of Prophets and they are the builders of society. He called upon Aima fraternity to keep children away from sectarianism, violence and urged that they must be taught love for soil and religion.

Director General of the Academy, Dr. Sohail Hassan also spoke on the occasion who  praised the  active participation of the attendees of course. He Thanked President IIUI for his support and said that academy would keep arranging sucgh programs in future. At the end,  course completion certificates were awarded to  participants.
