The Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at the International Islamic University (IIU) has successfully resolved long-pending National Research Program for Universities (NRPU) projects. This milestone achievement has resulted in the allocation of an impressive funding amount of Rs 22.7 million PKR by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, and Center of Advanced Electronics and Photovoltaic Engineering (CAEPE) at IIU.
Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Sayed, Vice President (Research and Enterprise), ORIC undertook a proactive initiative to address the backlog and ensure the timely execution of the NRPU projects. Through close collaboration with all stakeholders involved, the dedicated team at ORIC meticulously cleared all pending projects, even resolving a case that had remained unresolved since 2012.
