The 3rd meeting of Board of Advanced Studies and Research of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) of year 2020 was held under the Chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) at Faisal Masjid Campus of the university.
During the meeting, the board discussed and analyzed synopses’ of PhD and MS students of faculties of Shariah and Law, Languages and Literature, Arabic and faculty for Basic and Applied Sciences, FBAS, IIUI. The board members also shared valuable suggestions with President, IIUI.
On this occasion Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al Draiweesh said that research must be impartial and it should not neglect the proper application of research methodology. He directed the Deans and Head of departments to devise internal committees to evaluate research proposals to avoid overlapping of the subjects. Dr. Draiweesh also urged the participants to introduce latest trends of research and explore new avenues for academic excellence.
It was also attended by Prof. Dr. Aqdas Naveed Malik, Vice President (HS&R), Prof. Dr. Farkhanda Zia, Vice President (Female Campus), Prof. Dr. Amir, Secretary (BASR), Deans, Heads of departments and other relevant Officials of the university.
