International Islamic University, Volleyball team (female) has booked its slot in Final of the regional round of the Universities Premier League Volleyball Women Championship 2020 organized by Higher Education Commission (HEC).
IIUI team defeated Mirpur University of Science and Technology in the semifinals held at Bahria University, Islamabad. The team is being supervised by Dr Nyla Jabeen, Student Advisor, Female Campus and Nadia Mukhtar, Assistant Director Sports. Other than IIUI, MUST, BAHRIA and NUST had qualified for semifinals.
The athletes showed a competitive spirit, their enthusiasm and brilliant performance reflected their hard work, said IIU mentors Dr. Nyla and Nadia Mukhtar. They also appreciated the hard work of team assistant coaching staff including Ayesha Rashid and Sana Gul.
