ISLAMIC ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR TEACHERS AND RELIGIOUS SCHOLARS HELD AT REGIONAL DAWAH CENTER (SINDH) KARACHI

Regional Da’wah Center (Sindh), Karachi, Dawah Academy, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) organized Islamic Orientation Training Program for teachers and religious scholars in which esteemed religious scholars converged to advocate for the expansion of studies among teachers. The event, titled “Islamic Training Program for Teachers and Religious Madrasahs,” emphasized the significant role of educators in addressing contemporary challenges through a blend of traditional teachings and modern expertise. The IOP program was attended by teachers and scholars of different religious madrasahs.

In various sessions, highlighting the importance of training program Dr. Zubain Ashraf Usmani said, those involved in the field of teaching should expand their studies. Dr. Ikram ul Haq Yasin said that the prime responsibility of the teachers is to explain the solution to the problems of the people in the light of contemporary and Shariah.
Mufti Muhammad Zahid while addressing the training participants highlighted the difficulties encountered in teaching can be solved by teachers through their own experience, deep study and advice from administrators.
Tasneem-ul-Haq Farooqui highlighted the importance of language in teaching and sermons, Dr. Mahmood Ghaznavi addressed on Talent of versatility, Mufti Khalid Bukhari. Saqafat al-Khatib, Dr. Mufti Shahzad highlighted the Scholars and Modern Educational Needs, Dr. Ikramul Haque Yasin shed light on difficulties encountered in the field of teaching, Mufti Muhammad Zahid spoke on responsibilities of Teachers in Modern Times, Mufti Zubair Ashraf Usmani and Chairman, Boards of Religious Schools, Dr. Aamir Tasin introduced participants about significance of teachers in the society and expressed Jurisprudential differences and limitations, Dr. Syed Aziz ur Rehmanm, In-Charge RDC (Sindh) spoke on Scholars and Modern Challenges and also briefed about the Da’wah Academy’s activities while Dr. Shahzad Channa presented a brief introduction on this occasion.

Sheikh Al-Hadith Mufti Muhammad Zahid of Jamia Imdadiya, a prominent religious scholar, said that the training program of Dawah Academy is welcome for madrasa teachers and teaching in religious madrasas is a blessing. He said that the difficulties faced in teaching can be solved by the teachers with their experience, deep study and the advice of the administrators. He said that teachers should do their teaching in the light of Sirat Tayyaba, teaching can be improved by the important traditions of Madrasahs.

Secretary of Islamic Ideological Council of Pakistan Dr. Ikramul Haque Yasin said that teachers should develop expertise in their field. Use Arabic terms in teaching and train the students about Arabic literature. He said that the basic needs of education include that the system should be improved by dividing the responsibilities of madrasahs, besides, it is the responsibility of scholars and teachers of madrasahs to solve the problems of the people in contemporary and contemporary ways.

The closing ceremony of the program was held in the auditorium where Dr. Zubair Ashraf Usmani, Vice Chancellor of Jamia Darul Uloom, Karachi was the chief guest. In his keynote speech, he said that scholars should use modern technology and mass media to promote Da’wah in the world. He said that in jurisprudential disagreements, we should keep literature in mind, and have a relationship of respect with other texts. He said that the people associated with the teaching department should expand their studies and study modern and ancient sciences in depth.

Earlier, in his concluding remarks, the in-charge of Regional Da’wah Center (Sindh), Karachi Dr. Syed Aziz ur Rehman thanked the distinguished guests and resource persons of the program and said that it is our good fortune that the learned scholars participated in this program as mentors. He said that Da’wah Academy’s invitational and training activities continue throughout the year in the Regional Da’wah Center. In the end participation certificates among the participants were distributed by the Chief Guest.
