ternational Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) visited Psychology Lab and appreciated interactive resources for studying, experimenting, testing and teaching of psychological science. The Rector said that establishment of psychology lab is a meaningful effort and assured maximum support for the department of psychology.
Rector appreciated the continuous effort of the department and showed his interest in different psychological experiments and psychological test in general and particularly in personality, aptitude, intelligent test and psychology digital lab (The digital lab is equipped with latest data analysis software used in Social Sciences for research purpose: including both qualitative and quantitative data analysis software). He stressed that facilities and services acknowledged the importance of psychology in modern era. He also emphasized to expand their psychological services to the rest of the university.
The Lab was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Suliman Abdullah Aba Al-Khail, Pro-Chancellor, International Islamic University Islamabad, & Rector, Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on the occasion of his visit for BoT meeting of university, where Prof. Dr. Masoom Yasinzai, Rector, IIUI and Prof. Dr Ahmad Yousif Ahmad Al Draiweesh President (IIUI) were also present.
The Lab incharge, Basharat Hussain briefed the Rector that Lab is equipped with variety of resources available for students’ use. He apprised that Department of Psychology established the first well equipped lab in the faculty of social science having latest psychological test, equipment and peer-reviewed materials.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily, Director Academics, IIUI, Director QEC, Dr. Muhammad Amir were also present on the occasion.
