Youth is a ray of hope, Muslim unity is a key to success Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI). He was addressing a two-day workshop of regional coordinators for the project: advancing inclusiveness among youth through training and education.
The program was organized by Islamic Research Institute (IRI) here at Allama Iqbal Auditorium of the University.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, President, IIUI was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Speaking on the occasion, President of the university said that Islamic University felt the need for unity in the current situation and launched the Paigham-e-Pakistan narrative. Dr. Draiweesh said that unity is a key to the success for the entire Muslim Ummah, whose practical form is the peaceful gathering of Muslims around the world on the occasion of Hajj, and that is the manifestation of this message.
Elaborating Pak-Arab relations he said that we are united at a single platform for peaceful co-existence while initiatives of Pakistani government are admirable. Dr. Draiweesh emphasized that youth is a ray of hope for achieving the milestones in this regard.
It was also addressed by Prof. Dr. Zia Ul Haq, Director General, Islamic Research Institute (IRI), who elaborated the goals and objectives of IRI and Paigham-e-Pakistan narrative of the seminar and urged the students to strive continuously in the pursuit of knowledge.
