Dr. Ahmed bin Yousif Al-Draiweesh President of the International Islamic University in Islamabad, inaugurated the International Conference on “Al-Quds, History, Status and Sovereignty” held at the University of Dar es Salaam, Contour, Indonesia.
President International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh said in his remarks that Palestine issue was not a political one but it was a religious issue and Muslims must be united to call for the rights of Palestinians and Muslim Ummah.
Dr. Al-Draiweesh, President of the International Islamic University is attending this conference is accompanying a delegation from IIUI comprising Dr. Husn ul Amin Al-Ameen, Executive Director of the Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue of the university, and Dr. Ashraf Abdel-Rafie El-Darfili, Advisor for International Cooperation in the Office of the President of the University.
HE Dr. Amal, President of the University of Dar es Salaam in Contour, welcomed all guests and thanked them for their attendance and participation in this conference.
The conference also witnessed presentations of working papers and research by participants of the international Islamic figures on various topics relevant to the theme.
