Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh, President, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) met with Chairman Ulema Council and Grand Mufti of Bosnia at his office.
During the meeting, cooperation in the field of Fatwa was discussed and it was agreed that both the council and the university will work for exchange of experiences in the field Fatwa. The Grand Mufti said that IIUI’s Fatwa Institute was a vital source of exposure for the Muslim students and he desired that Bosnian students be given special priority for acquiring education there.
On the occasion, Dr. Al-Draiweesh said that IIUI will welcome Bosnian students to all its faculties, centers and academies. He reiterated his resolve that university will keep providing best facilities of education and experiences sharing to students of all Muslim countries on priority basis.
The President’s visit was part of his efforts to expand IIUI’s educational ties globally and to introduce the university across the world.
