In wake of having meetings with philanthropists, the heads of charitable and humanitarian organizations, the international bodies, the members of the university’s board of trustees, businessmen and dignitaries for the progress and promotion of International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh called on Mr. Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Jerawi, a renowned Kuwaiti philanthropist.
During the meeting, the President of the University presented a brief overview of the International Islamic University in Islamabad and told that it is one of the leading Islamic universities in the 
Islamic world.
In addition issues pertaining to support of university and cooperation in pursuit of academic activities and infrastructure were also discussed.
Mr. Abdul Rahman Al Jerawi appreciated IIUI for providing best quality education to the Muslim youth as per contemporary requirements.
At the end of the meeting, President of the University presented university publications bulletins and brochures
