DR. AL-DRAIWEESH MEETS TOP OFFICIALS OF AL-NAJAT CHARITABLE SOCIETY IN KUWAIT

In wake of having meetings with philanthropists, the heads of charitable and humanitarian organizations, the international bodies, the members of the university’s board of trustees, businessmen and dignitaries for the progress and promotion of International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh called on  Mr. Ahmed Saad Al-Jasser and Dr. Jaber Eid Al-Wanda, Deputy Director General of Al-Najat Charitable Society.

Dr. Jaber Eid Al-Wanda gave a brief description of Al-Najat Charitable Society in the State of Kuwait and its services.  He told that It is considered one of the most important charities in Kuwait, which makes every effort to implement humanitarian and development programs that save thousands of needy people in the poor countries of the world. He added that  Al-Najat Charity in more than 15 countries: Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Philippines, Indonesia, Yemen, Djibouti, Egypt, Chad and Sudan. Now, as one of its major aims is to take care of Muslim youth and help the students of science as well.

IIUI President presented university publications bulletins, brochures and hoped that the charity will help the needy students of IIUI. He also briefed about the activities and ongoing projects of the University for the betterment of Muslim societies.
