Islamabad: International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) and Orange Tree Foundation (OTF), Karachi, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 12, 2025, to establish a framework of cooperation for providing need-cum-merit-based scholarships to students of IIUI.
Under the MoU, OTF, with the support of IIUI, will award scholarships to high-merit and deserving students pursuing higher education at the university.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, President IIUI, and Mr. Omer Mateen Allahwala, Chief Executive Officer, Orange Tree Foundation.
The partnership aims to create equal educational opportunities for financially challenged but talented students of IIUI. The university expressed its commitment to addressing societal needs by preparing skilled graduates who can contribute positively to the country’s development.
