IIUI President Honours Dr. Rahmat Ellahi for Tamgha-e-Imtiaz Achievement

Director, Quality Assurance and Development (QAD), Professor Dr. Rahmat Ellahi, who was recently conferred the prestigious Tamgha-e-Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan, called on the President of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Professor Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmad, at his office.

On the occasion, President IIUI presented certificates of appreciation and a letter of thanks to Dr. Rahmat Ellahi in recognition of his scholarly contributions and long-standing services. He congratulated Dr. Rahmat and termed his recognition a matter of great pride for the university community, adding that “his name is an honour for all people of IIUI and an inspiration for both students and colleagues.”

Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmad further noted that the success of IIUI faculty members at the national level reflects the university’s spirit of academic excellence. He emphasized the need to expand into new disciplines aligned with the spirit of the times, highlighting that IIUI has made significant strides in international rankings, quality enhancement, and research output and Internal Quality Cell (IQC) performance.

On the occasion, Dr. Rahmat Ellahi acknowledged the continuous support of the IIUI President and Vice Presidents, and shared that his academic journey of more than 20 years at IIUI has been marked by opportunities to serve in teaching, research, and academic development. He reaffirmed his commitment to furthering the university’s mission of advancing knowledge and innovation.
