The delegation of the professors of the Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University (IMAMU) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, participated in a ceremony at Iqbal International Institute for Dialogue and Research.
The delegation amid its visit felicitated Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh on his appointment as IIUI President for further 4 years. The ceremony was also attended by Rector IIUI, Dr. Masoom Yasinzai, IIUI Vice President Dr. Muhammad Bashir Khan, the IIUI foreign teachers and other senior faculty members of the university.
Dr. Masoo welcomed the scholars of delegation while hailing the role of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud University in promotion of education. While terming the appointment of Dr. Al-Draiweesh important for university he appreciated his service for bringing in the foreign scholar to IIUI.
He also pried wisdom of Dr. Al-Draiweesh and said he always make prudent decisions. IIUI Rector thanked Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for exemplary cooperation with IIUI. Dr. Masoom also discussed linkages between IIUI, Al-Azhar and Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud University, Islamabad.
Dr. Al- Draiweesh thanked all the participants of ceremony for felicitations and vowed that academic excellence would be promoted through a valid linkage between Islamic world varsities.
