IIUI HOLDS 2ND MEETING OF COMMITTEE FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THE BoG APPROVED STRATEGIC PLAN (2022-2026)
A meeting of the committee under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, Vice President (HS&R), for the implementation of University’s strategic plan (2022-2026) was held here in the Council Hall of new campus.
During the meeting, Dr. Shuja reviewed the context and proceedings of the first meeting and the recommendations of the Board of Governors on the Strategic Plan. While pitching detailed ideas, Dr. Shuja focused to devise a strategy for implementation of the plan on priority basis while, valuable suggestions from committee members to achieve the targets were also obtained by the chair.
Prof. Dr. Nabi Bux Jumani, Vice President (AF&P), IIUI on this occasion assured full cooperation, for successful implementation of Strategic Plan (2022-2026) of IIUI. It was agreed in the meeting that the unique Islamic character of our university which is unmatched by any other institution of higher education in Pakistan must be inculcated during the implementation of strategic plan.
On this occasion, Dr. Muhammad Arif, Assistant Professor, FMS presented a comprehensive thinking framework to the meeting participants while, Prof. Dr. Najeeba Arif, Acting Dean, FLL (who participated in the meeting via weblink), Prof. Dr. Nadeem Ahmed Shaikh, Dean, FET, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman, Dean, FMS, Prof. Dr. Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, FMS, Syed Hassan Aftab, Director, HR, Dr. Rehmat Elahi, Director, QAD, Mr. Noor Hussain, Incharge, Finance, Mr. Ayaz Ali, Addl. Director, Finance shared valuable inputs and suggestions with the chair.
The meeting ended with a commitment to follow pragmatic approach for implementation of the Strategic Plan of IIUI and it is decided to finalize and present the framework, work packages and identification of working groups in the next meeting. It was further decided to make all the stakeholders abreast with the revised organogram, strategic plan and the thinking framework in order to effectively accomplish various work packages for the development of the implementation plan.
