IIUI FACULTY MEMBER NOMINATED FOR LINDAU NOBEL LAUREATES MEETING 2020

Dr. Saba Ashraf, an Assistant Professor at Sulaiman Abalkhail- Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Basic Sciences (SA-CIRBS) of the International Islamic University (Islamabad) brought fame to the varsity as she has been nominated for the Nobel Lindau Laureates Meeting 2020.

Dr. Saba is among the 10 shortlisted candidates who have been nominated by the Higher Education Commission and PIEAS under an MoU. The meeting will be held in 2020 at  the Lindau in Germany. Once every year, around 30-40 Nobel Laureates convene in Lindau (Germany) to meet the next generation of leading scientists: 600 undergraduates, PhD students, and post-doc researchers from all over the world. The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings foster the exchange among scientists of different generations, cultures, and disciplines. IIUI leadership has felicitated Dr. Saba and hoped that she will grab the title.
