President, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh hosted Iftar and Dinner in honour of the heads and members of various committees formed for the convocation at Faisal Masjid Campus of the university.
The university organized its 10th convocation few days ago in which as many as 11,644 students mustered to get their degrees.
The event was also attended by Vice President HS&R Dr. Muhammad Munir, Deans of the university, Director General AF&P, Directors and other relevant officials.
Speaking on the occasion, President IIUI hailed the ded
ication of the university officials while saying that success of the convocation is an omen of unity at IIUI. He said that Chancellor of IIUI H.E Mamnoon Hussain and Pro Chancellor Prof. Dr. Sulaiman Abdullah Aba Al-Khail have appreciated the event and said that it was a very organized activity. Dr. Al-Draiweesh urged that milieu of dedication and commitment be continued at IIUI and stressed that all the officials at university should work as team.
At the end, the IIUI President presented souvenirs to the various heads and member s of the committees and appreciated that all the committees did their best and fulfilled tasks within the given deadlines.
