Prof. Dr. Masoom Yasinzai, Rector IIU called on Governor Balochistan Aman ullah Khan Yasinzai.
During the meeting, both discussed issues of mutual concern such as promotion of education in province and role of IIU graduates in development of Balochistan.
Dr. Masoom who is also Chairman of the Governing Council of Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue (IRD) discussed future projects and collaborations of institute in universities and Madrassas of Balochistan.
The Governor, while appreciating the efforts and services of IIU said that training and outreach programs under university’s IRD in various areas of Balochistan can produce best results in pursuit of society building. The Governor also emphasized on utilizing IIU graduates to work for promotion of education across the province.
Dr. Masoom apprised of the vision, details and activities of the university. He also gave a detailed briefing of IRD’s scope and services saying that the institute will be keen to collaborate with variety of institutions across Baluchistan.
IIUI mission is to transform the society by promoting education, training, research, technology, and collaboration for reconstruction of human thought in all its forms on the foundations of Islam.
