In connection with the global theme for the year 2023 “Unite! Invest to prevent violence against women and girls”, the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) in collaboration with Parliamentarians Commission for Human Rights (PCHR), will host a program titled “ Freedom, Equality and Justice for All” on December 12th, at its new campus that will be attended by Senior Judges, renowned personalities of media, women rights activists and famous politicians.
According to details, the event will be held in front of the administration block on December 12, Tuesday at 2 PM in which a huge number of students and university officials will participate to commemorate the campaign against gender-based violence.
The program will be graced by Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Human Rights and Women Empowerment, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, Senior judges, Mr. Hamid Mir, human rights activist Shehzad Roy and many other important names from all walks of the society.
Meanwhile, a meeting was held, on Thursday, in this regard to assign the tasks to the various committees for the exquisite arrangements. The meeting was chaired by the Students Advisor male, Dr. Hafiz Ghufran Ali Khan, while it was also attended by Director Administration Inam ul Haq, female students advisor and other relevant officials. On the occasion, various committees were formed and tasks were assigned. The follow up meeting in this regard will be held on Friday.
