President of Pakistan and Chancellor, International Islamic University (IIU) Arif Hussain Alvi has appointed Prof. Dr Bushra Mirza (T.I.), Vice Chancellor, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), as a Member of the Board of Governors of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI). According to a notification issued by Meetings Section, the honorable member shall hold office for a period of two years.
Dr. Bushra Mirza is an eminent educationist and she is serving as the VC LCWU. She was earlier the Head of Biochemistry Department at Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad. She completed her education at Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad with distinction, achieved Gold Medal in MSc and M.Phil. She chose Cambridge University for her PhD and is a postdoctoral graduate of the University of North Carolina.
