DR BASHIR VOWS QUALITY EDUCATION THROUGH IIUI

Dr. Muhammad Bashir Khan , Vice President, Academics International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) has reiterated his resolve that university will keep providing quality education to the Muslim world in the light of Islamic teachings.

This he stated while talking to the representatives of media who called upon him at his office. Dr. Bashir Khan told the media persons that IIUI was heading towards the destination of progress and it was expanding its exposure further through collaborations and linkages with educational institutions of the world. Responding to the educational system in Pakistan, Dr. Bashir Khan said that Pakistani educational system is the one of the best ones in the world and urged that youth should not be discouraged in this regard.

“IIUI is the third largest public sector university in country with on campus thirty thousand plus students including nearly 14 thousand female students in the separate female campus” he told while briefing about the university. He also informed about the future plans of the university and told about the recently complement developmental projects at campuses.

Responding to a question regarding eradication of terrorism, Vice President IIUI said that universities have pivotal role in this regard and only they can make a breakthrough to defeat the terrorism. He also told about the efforts of IIUI in this regard. He also hailed Higher Education Commission and said that it was doing its best for the betterment in the field of education.
