Dr. Muhammad Ilyas, Director General, Dawah Academy, International Islamic University (IIU) visited Faisal Masjid and reviewed arrangements made for Namaz e taraweeh in the light of Covid-19 SOPs.
The DG was briefed about the details of the arrangements by Incharge, Faisal Masjid Islamic Centre, Dr. Qari Zia ur Rehman. Incharge Protocol and Public Relations, Nasir Farid, Assistant Director P&PR Al-Hassan and other relevant officials were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Muhammad Ilyas called upon the faithful to strictly adhere to social distancing and other precautions for the safety. He said we are leaving no stone unturned to provide a safe milieu for prayers at Faisal Masjid. He emphasized upon the public to use mask as per recommended procedure of its usage with a special observance of the act of social distancing.
The DG, Dawah Academy vowed that the academy will ensure provision of best facilities, implementation of Covid-19 SOPs and availability of soaps and sanitizers throughout the month۔
