CHINESE AMBASSADOR VISITS FAISAL MASJID

Nong Rong , Ambassador of China Tuesday visited Faisal Masjid where he was received by Dr. Muhammad Ilyas, Director General Dawah Academy of International Islamic University (IIUI).

The Chinese Ambassador took keen interest in various parts of Mosque as he was briefed about it in detail. Nong Rong was also briefed about International Islamic University, its academics programs, international linkages and particularly its outreach programs by Dr. Muhammad Ilyas.

In meeting with Director General Dawah Academy and IIUI officials in the hall of the Mosque, the Chinese Ambassador thanked for a warm welcome at Mosque. He said every citizen of China has immense love for Pakistan. He added that the friendship is exemplary and historic. He said he is feeling pleasure to visit the grand Mosque which he said indeed is a symbol and recognition of Pakistan. The Ambassador said that we must transfer this love and friendship to Youth so that the bilateral exemplary brethren ties may expand and get strengthened in the future.

Dr. Muhammad Ilyas said on the occasion that the visit of the Chinese Ambassador and his meeting with the Hufaaz is a matter of pleasure for us. He said that Dawah Academy is disseminating message of Islam that is peace, harmony and peaceful coexistence. He also told about the Islamic books translated into Chinese. He said publications of Dawah Academy are hailed across the world as the Academy is focused on dissemination of Islam, trainings for introduction to the real essence of Islam and promotion of Quranic teachings. He also told that more than 700 Chinese students are studying at IIUI. The visit concluded with the verses of Holy Quran those were recited by Dr. Muhammad Ilyas.
