A delegation of Afghan women visited the Da’wah Centre for Women at the Da’wah Academy of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), where they were briefed on the Centre’s work in religious education and women’s development.
The delegation was received by Dr. Faryal Umbreen, Incharge of the Da’wah Centre for Women, who introduced the guests to the Centre’s objectives, ongoing programs, and educational initiatives designed to promote Islamic awareness and empower women through structured religious training.
During her welcome address, Dr. Faryal Umbreen outlined the Centre’s efforts to provide comprehensive religious education through lectures, Quran and Hadith classes, outreach programs, and skills-based training. They expressed appreciation for the Centre’s academic depth and inclusive environment, noting that such efforts serve as an effective model for women’s religious education in the region.
The delegation also praised the Da’wah Academy’s broader mission of promoting faith-based leadership among women.
They acknowledged the Academy’s contribution in addressing the evolving spiritual and social needs of Muslim women, especially in times of societal transformation.
