IIUI Students Showcase Educational Innovations at 3-D Model Exhibition

The Department of Teacher Education at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) organized a 3-D Model Exhibition on “Recent Trends in Education” at the Female Campus. The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Alina Raza as part of the course “Contemporary Trends in Education.”

The exhibition featured models developed by students from B.Ed (4th, 5th, and 6th semesters) and BS English Language Teaching (ELT) 4th semester, reflecting a wide range of emerging educational themes including artificial intelligence, inclusive education, digital learning, and project-based learning.

Students translated classroom knowledge into visual and interactive displays, encouraging active engagement with current educational developments. The exhibition provided a platform for students to demonstrate their understanding of modern teaching methods and how these can be applied in real-world educational settings.

Chairperson of the Department of Teacher Education, Dr. Muhammad Munir Kayani, highlighted the value of model-based learning. He stated that hands-on work helps students grasp theoretical content more deeply and build practical skills necessary for future educators.

Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Incharge Programs, emphasized the relevance of artificial intelligence in reshaping education, calling it an essential part of the evolving teaching landscape.

Faculty members and guest teachers visited the exhibition, interacted with students, and provided constructive feedback. They appreciated the creativity and research involved in each presentation.

Dr. Alina Raza concluded the event by acknowledging the dedication of the students and encouraging them to continue exploring innovative approaches in education. The exhibition reflected IIUI’s focus on equipping future educators with the tools and mindset required for 21st-century classrooms.
