It is my pleasure to welcome to the Department of Physics at the Faculty of Sciences, International Islamic University, Islamabad. The department has a proud tradition of academic excellence and a strong commitment to fostering an environment where learning, discovery, and innovation thrive.
Physics is at the heart of modern science and technology, and our programs are designed to equip students with a solid foundation in theoretical, computational and experimental physics, while also encouraging independent thinking, problem-solving, and research skills. With a team of highly qualified faculty members, state-of-the-art laboratories, and a focus on interdisciplinary research, we strive to prepare our graduates to meet the evolving demands of academia, industry, and society.
