The President of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, visited the female hostel blocks as part of his first comprehensive review of the university’s residential facilities.
Upon arrival, Dr. Amna Mahmood, In-Charge Female Campus, and Dr. Kiran Kiyani, Acting Provost, welcomed the President. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed toured the hostel blocks, inspecting rooms, kitchens, common areas, and support facilities. He engaged directly with hostel staff and officials to gain a firsthand understanding of the living conditions and services provided to female students, including both national and international residents.
Dr. Amna Mahmood briefed the President on the measures in place to ensure hygiene, security, and student welfare. The President took keen interest in understanding the needs of the residents and the challenges faced by hostel management in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
Notably, despite the inclement weather, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed continued with his visit, underscoring his commitment to personally assessing student facilities and addressing their concerns as part of his vision for IIUI. He commended the efforts of the administration and directed the relevant departments to continue improving residential infrastructure and services to ensure student well-being remains a top priority.
