The President of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), H.E. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, undertook his first visit to the university’s male hostel blocks, where he directly engaged with resident students to assess their living conditions and address their concerns.

Undeterred by heavy rain, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed continued his inspection of the hostel facilities. He personally visited rooms, kitchens, washrooms, and common areas, taking stock of the existing conditions and interacting with students to hear their issues firsthand. The President’s visit reflected his deep commitment to student welfare and the importance he places on ensuring a healthy and supportive residential environment.

Accompanying the President during the visit were the Provost, Director Administration / Works, and representatives of the Civil, Electoral, Security, E&M, and Horticulture departments. Together, they reviewed the state of infrastructure and services provided to hostel residents.

President IIUI reaffirmed that improving hostel facilities and promptly addressing student grievances will remain a top priority of the university administration. He directed all relevant departments to extend maximum cooperation and take immediate steps to enhance the living conditions within the hostels.

He further assured students that their feedback would not only be heard but acted upon, and emphasized the administration’s unwavering commitment to creating a safe, clean, and conducive residential environment that supports the academic and personal growth of all hostel residents.
