An international seminar was organized at the Dawah Academy under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Muhammad Ilyas, Director General of the Dawah Academy.

The seminar witnessed the participation of local researchers and scholars, as well as distinguished guest Professor Dr. Abdul Hameed Abrishiq, a renowned intellectual, researcher, and scholar from Turkey. Dr. Abrishiq delivered a keynote address on the topic of “Utilization of Modern Means in Dawah.”

Professor Dr. Abdul Hameed Abrishiq, who is currently visiting Pakistan, shared the purpose of his visit, highlighting the establishment of an institution in Turkey named the “Center for South Asian Studies.” He told this center focuses on research in five key areas: religions, languages, history, culture, and civilization. The center aims to compile an encyclopedia that will publish research on these subjects.

Dr. Abrishiq emphasized the importance of modern means for the promotion of Dawah and also stressed that Islam is a practical religion, with a strong emphasis on action. He stated, “The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was sent as a perfect example by Allah. He maintained that the spread of Islam in the world is more influenced by the conduct of Muslims than by speeches. The people of Indonesia and Malaysia embraced Islam due to the exemplary behavior of Muslim traders.” he said.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Ilyas, Director General of the Dawah Academy, delivered the presidential address, expressing gratitude to the esteemed guest and all participants for their presence. He acknowledged the significance of such intellectual gatherings in fostering a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings and their dissemination.
