IIUI PRESIDENT DELIVERS JUMA SERMON AT FAISAL MASJID

The President of the International Islamic University in Islamabad, Dr. Ahmed bin Yousif Al-Draiweesh delivered a Friday sermon at King Faisal Mosque on Friday August 02, 2019.

In the sermon he urged for patience and highlighted the importance of those who remain peaceful.  His main topic was the important ritual Hajj, he elaborated the history, importance and process of Hajj.

IIUI President emphasized that the history is actually a pathway for us to learn and practice and disseminate Islam’s message of humanity and peace. Dr. Al-Draiweesh stressed upon tolerance while saying that terrorism has nothing to do with Islam.

He maintained that it was the responsibility of the educational institutions and Mosques of the Muslims societies to introduce the public about the true message of Islam and expose the enemies of the sacred religion.  He said rule of law and justice are the hallmarks of an Islamic society. He said Allah likes those who are honest, give Zakat and are charitable. He also prayed for the prosperity of the country.
